This is one of my favorite places for breakfast or brunch in Amsterdam. The service is very good and although the menu is not that extensive, everything they have is delicious and well made. Their coffee is very good and their cakes never fail. They have several locations close to each other in case there is no space, but they may still have a waiting list although it always goes quickly, I recommend making a reservation.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Great place for english-speaking tourists. Food selection is likened to other local restaurants but good for tourists as well. Food is delicious, well prepared and has great presentation. Coffee here is quite good too. Atmosphere is very bright and airy. Clean and well kept when we were there. It wasn't super crowded too, we went in around 10am in the morning. So it would likely be a great spot to go for a quieter place to eat.

Super friendly service, the food price is slightly higher than average but the quality is amazing, I enjoyed absolutely every dish! Highly recommend carrot cake desert! Will definitely come back again 😊

We walked in and they were nice enough to let us sit right away at the table that had just left. Service was great and very quick. Everyone was very friendly. Don’t listen to these other people complaining about food. Food is great. Everyone in here is very nice and running a great establishment. Must visit in Amsterdam. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely spot with excellent coffee and an outstanding staff. The waiter greeted me with a warm, generous smile and demonstrated exceptional kindness and attentiveness.

They made me feel very unwelcome. They seated me in the middle of the room. The first thing they said to me was the table was only for one hour but I did not hear them say it to anyone else. The staff and patrons kept rubbing past me. No matter how many times they said sorry it kept happening. After I ordered with the first staff member a further 2 staff members came to take my order, obviously there was not much communication between them. There menu was not inspiring. They did not have decaf and there was no gluten free options or any labelling of allergies on the menu. They stated no cash, no laptops and no splitting bills on the menu. I really didn’t understand why you can’t split the bill. I ordered Shakshuka, it was edible but it was mainly all tomato sauce, they gave the tiniest amount of yogurt and the eggs were runny. Overall I felt unwelcome they did not want me there, I was uninspired by the menu and came back very disappointed.

Best lunch I had in Amsterdam, they are nearing the level of “two hands” in NY/Austin which are my absolute fav. Besides great food and fabulous atmosphere “Locals” resonate great energy… it’s the crew the owner… they are truly passionate and you feel it. Highly recommend it! Ps. In recommended to rsvp

The food is actually delicious. Only the waiting line is complicated. The service was as expected for a crowded and high-demand environment. I will be back soon at an earlier time.
